Rick Higdon

President & CEO

Rick Higdon has twenty years of experience delivering mission critical software and services to the global utility, mining and transportation industries. Most recently Rick was President of the Mobility workforce management division of Axiom, which he led after successfully completing the 2004 sale of the division to GFI Energy Ventures. The division was subsequently merged into SPL Worldgroup.  Prior to his role at Axiom, Rick consulted with technology start-ups and he helped complete the sale of Bradley Ward Systems, where he served as Vice President for two years. Previously, Rick served over ten years in positions of increasing responsibility with Mincom. At Mincom he led Latin American operations, North American sales and was regional CFO.  Rick started his career in finance after college, and he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Tim Perman

Executive Vice President

Tim Perman leads Turnpoint Solutions global mining and transportation industry practice groups. Tim has twenty years of mining and IT industry experience, and he has led Turnpoint Solutions’ global engagements with customers including (among others) Newmont Gold, Inco, Long Beach Transit, and Omnitrans. Prior to founding EAM Resources, which was acquired in the creation of Turnpoint Solutions, Tim led financial consulting for Mincom. He also previously served for 7 years as financial controller of Western Metals. After graduating from college in Australia, Tim started his career in accounting with Deloitte & Touche.

Debbie O'Brien

Vice President of Operations

Debbie O'Brien leads Turnpoint Solutions’ operational activities, including infrastructure development, project oversight, and recruitment to support Turnpoint's growing customer base and global growth strategy. O'Brien has previously served in several executive roles and brings more than eleven years of experience providing operations and consultant support management. Most recently, O'Brien managed the Business Information Management (BIM) Practice at Capgemini, where she was responsible for all operational activities, including the support of approximately 350 consultants globally. Prior to Capgemini, O'Brien served as VP of Operations for Gazelle Consulting and also held senior management positions at Application Partners and CFI ProServices.

Mark Dees

Vice President of Business Development

Mark Dees leads Turnpoint Solutions business development efforts where he is responsible for planning and implementing strategies for accelerating growth across Turnpoint’s core mining, utilities and transportation solution verticals and its expanded Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) services offerings for asset intensive industries. Previously, Mark was responsible for EAM systems as Senior Account Manager in the Financial Solutions Division at Infor. Prior to Infor, Mark spent 10 years at Mincom as VP of Business Development where he was instrumental in establishing the Defense Practice and successfully expanding the transportation, mining, and utilities areas of the business. Earlier in his career, Mark’s leadership as Public Sector Sales Manager at TSW International (now part of Ventyx) resulted in significant divisional sales growth.

Chris Dabic

International Mining Practice Director

As International Mining Practice Director Chris Dabic leads Turnpoint Solutions global mining operations. Previously, as the Australian General Manager and senior principal of the mining industry practice group at Turnpoint, Chris successfully led a significant expansion of Turnpoint’s Australian operations. Chris also leads Turnpoint’s efforts to model financial best practices for the global mining industry. Chris has over 14 years experience delivering IT solutions to leading mining industry companies including Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, and Newmont. His experience includes delivery of a broad range of IT solutions including Mincom’s Ellipse and SAP R3. After obtaining an accounting degree, Chris commenced his career with Deloitte & Touche and has also held various senior finance positions in the mining industry before joining Mincom Australia as a financial consultant.

Adrian Hale

Managing Director Australia/New Zealand

Adrian Hale leads Turnpoint Solutions operations in the Australia/New Zealand Region. Adrian has over 25 years of business technology and general management experience within the large business sector including the government, mining, utilities, defence and manufacturing industries. Most recently, Mr. Hale served as Vice President of BEELINE Technologies, a specialist technology developer for automated GPS guidance systems primarily in the Agricultural sector. Prior to his role at BEELINE, Mr. Hale spent 18 years with Mincom in a number of senior executive positions with responsibility for business strategy and operations, client services, commercial management, sales and marketing.
